I recently submitted for damaged baggage (the airline only covered a portion of the cost to replace), and I got resolution/payment approved from Allianz within a few days.
I have had clients submit for baggage delay through Allianz and have the same experience. It helps to add their flights to the policy so that things are automated for coverage without receipts, but we started that policy before having flights.
