Barge Travel
I have clients requesting 'best barge' cruising. We are looking at Eurpean Waterways, French Waterways and A&K.
Need to know how best or other suggestions.

Sharon, do you have contact info for French Waterways? I have clients with the following request and am not sure how to start. I also did email Barge Lady and the French Canal Boat Company mentioned by others.
We were thinking about June 2025 in the French wine country. The idea comes from a trip a deceased friend took about 7-8 years ago. He might have personally organized. Ideally, we would combine a wine country biking trip with the barge being our moving hotel. We would want wine tastings arranged at the wineries along the way. We would have a simple breakfast on the barge and then biking through the country-side to a pre-determined lunch spot with site seeing and/or winery along the way and do the same in the afternoon to a dinner spot close enough to the barge new spot to arrive before it is totally dark ( Sunset in northern France at this time is about 10:00). We would plan to have a small barge to sleep 4 couples that we would find.
