Self-Driving in Guatemala
I think the best bet is hiring a driver/guide, but have an adventurous family with two little ones asking. Any thoughts?

I think the best bet is hiring a driver/guide, but have an adventurous family with two little ones asking. Any thoughts?
I was in Guatemala less than a year ago. Would not recommend self drive unless your clients have been in similarly chaotic/stressful driving situations. Even then, probably not worth the risk of something happening while on vacation, especially with kids in the car.
