Disney Cruise question

HI All. I don't book a lot of cruises, so I don't know if this is normal. Disney wants the passengers to book their own excursions. They don't let travel agents just call them in, as the guests need a login and book their own. They are sending bag tags direct to the client, no choice, and there aren't final documents. About 40 days prior they send a message directly to the clients to check in online, once again bypassing us.

Some agents might like this, as it is easy to just have the clients do everything. But in my opinion, Disney is trying to get the cruisers to think, hey, why do I need a travel agent when I'm doing everything myself?

Is this how cruise lines are operating these days? I've had a couple of others recently, and they weren't like this. Sometimes we can add our own little tips and thoughts when we pass along final documents, book or suggest the excursions.

I always follow up with them after final. I make sure they have the app. Have they filled out the guest paperwork? Do they want suggestions on what shore excursions etc. I have never lost a client due to this. Less work for you.
