I need to divide a BA record to make a change on one of the pax (record of 6, change 1). I swear I remember learning not too long ago that I've always done it wrong, but I'm not sure. I have always divided it, filed and received and ended it and THEN made the change on the record. But I think I remember hearing you're supposed to divide it, make the change, and THEN file and receive and end. I think this solve the problem of the airline not always receiving the changes on their end, but I'm not confident that I'm remembering this correctly. Anyone know for sure? And does it matter the airline, or is the procedure the same regardless? How do you all do divides and changes?
