Anyone Know Duluth?

Have 3 men traveling together and need one night (20 June) in Duluth in advance of meeting a fishing guide. They would take 3/room with 2 twin/1 sleeper or 2 rooms - a twin and 1 king/queen. They want to be near 600 E Superior as have heard of a great restaurant there (I am following up on that to be sure there's availability that evening).

Duluth seems totally booked (maybe they finally thawed out by then??). Any suggestions?? I've also looked at Proctor MN and near the airport as they will be flying in from Minneapolis after one night there. Admittedly I have not booked a stand-alone hotel in a while! I did find one hotel out of about 25 researched that had availability but also had a 2-night minimum. This is for a former SC neighbor and a good client. Thanks
