Scotland and Ireland FIT - 4 people

I have a request for an FIT of Scotland and Ireland for 4 people. I have worked with them before and would do it however I will be out of town for two weeks in June and just can't fit it in.

Let me know if you are interested in taking this booking. Thanks, Kari

They have booked their airline tickets and 3 nights in Edinburgh at the Hilton Carlton

Dates are September 28th arrive Edinburgh

Return from Dublin on October 8

Edinburgh sites they want to see:

Edinburgh Castle and tour the Royal Mile - we planned on doing this as a self guided walking tour.

Spend one day with a guide with car to travel to Stirling and Falkirk

Spend the last day either taking the train to St. Andrews for the day or another day in Edinburgh - your thoughts are appreciated.

Leave Edinburgh on the 22nd for Inverness

Spend a day with a guide with car to go to Loch Ness, Culloden (Inverness Tours have a one day tour that also includes Urquhart Castle)

Leave Inverness and head south to either Glasgow or Oban we are bit undecided here and guidance is appreciated.

After day in the south head to Belfast  .. we’d like to take the ferry we need guidance on how to accomplish this or even if it is feasible.

This concludes the Scotland portion of the trip.

Ireland

We are still working on the best sequence and days to spend a the various places in Ireland the following are our thoughts on places and time in each place:

Send a day touring Belfast and another day or two touring northern Ireland ( we aren’t sure if we should budget this time in Northern Ireland or if it is better to spend more time in the south)

Spend 2-3 days in Dublin

Day trip to Waterford

Spend 2 days touring the Ring of Kerry and Skellig

As far as sights to see or things to do in the cities our group has various interests

- Castles

-Museums

- Cultural and heritage sites

-Distillery and Guiness  Brewery

As far as travel goes it appears we will be able to take the train from place to place in Scotland and use guides with cars to take day trips.

In Ireland we haven't researched that as much, however train is preferred although we aren’t opposed to renting a car for a day or two trip.

Lodging we’d like a mix of hotels, guest houses, inns  3 or 4 star hotels are fine we’d like a mix here as well
