Whales are here in Maui

Aloha!

Humpback whales migrate to Hawaii every year during the cool winter months and begin arriving in November and they are here! By February, Maui will become ground central for humpback whale activity who have migrated from Alaska to give birth to their babies.

The Maui Nui Basin was designated as the Hawaiian Island Humpback Whale Sanctuary because Maui is the main Hawaiian island destination for Humpback Whales.

I had some guests go out on a Pedal Kayak tour through Project Expedition, and they saw mom, baby, and dula for a hour swimming around them. I've done it and it is beyond amazing.
