Cruise Insurance Question
When purchasing insurance through the cruise line (AMAWaterways in this case), is the amoutn of coverage just the cruise cost ($10,644)? Does it cover just the cruise (cruise-only policy) - or also any flights, hotels, etc. the client books on their own outside of the cruise line (full coverage policy)? Does anyone also take additional insurance or buy the airlines flight insurance too for the "gap" - just in case they have to cancel? Thank you!

Totally agree! I almost never use the insurance that the company suggests, unless it's CFAR. Fortunately I almost never have people who want CFAR. I do look at what the companies offer, it's seems to usually be tripmate. I find their coverage to be less comprehensive and more expensive. Selling travel insurance on our own is a total win/win in my view.
